Role Description
1. Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including hearing tests, otoscopy, and tympanometry, to identify hearing disorders and recommend treatment options.
2. Interpret test results, diagnose hearing and balance disorders, and develop treatment plans.
3. Fit and adjust hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive listening devices, and provide follow-up care and management.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialists, speech therapists, and physicians, to provide comprehensive care.
5. Educate patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and communication strategies.
6.Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
7.Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans.
8.Interpret test results, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop treatment plans.
9.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
10.Assess and implement AAC strategies and devices to support individuals with complex communication needs.
