We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AV Specialist / Senior Engineer to lead our AV

technical Team from system design and installation to programming and post-installation

support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise AV

integration, troubleshooting, and leadership. This role involves managing escalations,

mentoring engineers, and ensuring seamless operation of AV and VC systems across

meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and digital signage environments.

Key Responsibilities

AV & VC System Support

Provide Level 3 support for AV & VC setups (meeting rooms, auditoriums,

collaboration spaces).

Troubleshoot and resolve AV/VC issues involving displays, projectors, microphones,

audio systems, and codecs (Logitech, Poly, Cisco, Extron, Crestron, etc.).

Perform firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and system optimizations for AV

devices.

Support and guide team members during on-site installations and configurations.

Conduct basic programming and automation (Q SYS,Crestron, Extron, AMX).

Video Conferencing & Collaboration Tools

Ensure seamless performance of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Google Meet

setups.

Troubleshoot video/audio quality, camera tracking, and codec configurations.

Support hybrid meeting environments, BYOD setups, and soft codec integrations.

Networking & System Integration

Work with IT teams to manage AV-over-IP, VLANs, QoS, and firewall rules for AV

traffic.

Ensure network security compliance and low-latency streaming for AV systems.

Troubleshoot and integrate cloud-based conferencing solutions with enterprise IT

infrastructure.

Incident Management & Documentation

Manage incident escalations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and develop

preventive measures.

Maintain AV inventory, documentation, system diagrams, and maintenance logs.

Track service requests, escalate to vendors when needed, and maintain system

health reports.

OEM Certifications

Collaboration & Leadership

Mentor and guide L1 engineers and AV technicians.

Collaborate closely with IT, facilities, project managers, and vendors.

Participate in new AV deployments, upgrades, and proof-of-concept (POC)

testing/HO/IC Reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in AV installation and commissioning.

Expertise in AV & VC system troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.

Proficiency in AV control systems: Crestron, Extron, AMX (highly preferred), QSC,

Kramer.

Knowledge of video conferencing codecs (Poly, Cisco Webex, Logitech, etc.).

Understanding of Dante, AES67, AV-over-IP, NDI, and SDVoE protocols.

Basic programming skills in AMX, Cisco, Crestron, or Extron automation systems.

Experience integrating Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, and SIP/H.323 systems.

Soft Skills

Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Experience

5+ years of experience in AV/VC system integration, support, and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience in enterprise AV environments and large-scale deployments.

Prior involvement in incident management and vendor coordination.

Certifications (Preferred)

CTS / CTS-I / CTS-D (AVIXA)

Q SYS,Crestron, Extron, QSC, AMX, or equivalent manufacturer certifications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, AV Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent

experience).
