Audio Visual Application Engineer

We're looking for someone who can handle AV system design, programming, installation and commissioning across projects ranging from nightclubs and home theatres to corporate boardrooms.

What you'll do

• Design, configure and install AV systems based on drawings, schematics and project requirements
• Program DSP systems for audio applications, including nightclubs, cafés and other entertainment spaces
• Program AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, AMX and Q-SYS
• Integrate audio, video and network systems
• Commission systems on-site, test performance and troubleshoot issues
• Work closely with project managers, sales and installation teams
• Train clients on systems and prepare basic technical documentation

What you'll bring

• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in AV system design, programming or commissioning
• Hands-on experience with home theatres, listening rooms, recording studios or similar AV environments
• Experience with at least one major AV control platform
• Understanding of AV networking, including Dante, AVB or HDBaseT
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Good to have

• Crestron, Extron or Q-SYS certification
• Experience with audio DSP and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams or Webex
• Basic understanding of IT networking, including VLANs, IP configuration and switches
• Experience working with project management processes
