What You'll Do
- Transcribe audio recordings into accurate written text following clear formatting guidelines
- Handle a variety of speakers, accents, speech speeds, and audio quality levels
- Apply consistent punctuation, formatting, and speaker-labeling conventions
- Flag unclear or inaudible segments and note speaker changes as needed
- Meet quality standards and turnaround targets for each assignment
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Strong listener with a sharp ear for detail — you catch what others miss
- Good typing speed and accuracy under real-world conditions
- Patient and thorough when working through challenging audio
- Comfortable following structured guidelines and style rules
- Reliable and self-motivated — you take ownership of your work
- No prior transcription or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with transcription tools or audio playback software
- Familiarity with a variety of English accents or dialects
- Background in captioning, journalism, media, or administrative work
