Audio Mixing & Post-Production Engineer
We are looking for an Audio Mixing & Post-Production Engineer who can work on movie, web-series, OTT, documentary, and digital video content. This role requires someone with a strong ear for dialogue, music, SFX, sync, loudness, and final delivery standards.
What you'll do at Dubpro
- Mix dubbed audio for movies, web-series, OTT shows, and long-form video content.
- Clean, balance, and process dialogue tracks.
- Work with voice, music, ambience, and SFX stems.
- Ensure dubbed audio matches the feel, emotion, and loudness of the original content.
- Handle stereo mixing and basic surround/stem preparation where required.
- Fix audio issues such as noise, volume inconsistency, clipping, harshness, timing mismatch, and poor transitions.
- Sync dialogue accurately with video and maintain natural flow.
- Prepare final deliverables as per platform/client requirements.
- Coordinate with dubbing, QC, and production teams to address feedback quickly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in audio mixing, sound editing, or post-production.
- Experience working on films, OTT content, TV shows, documentaries, YouTube content, or digital video.
- Strong understanding of dialogue editing, EQ, compression, noise reduction, levelling, stereo mixing, and loudness.
- Comfortable working with music, SFX, ambience, and dialogue stems.
- Good sense of sync, emotion, and cinematic sound.
- Experience with tools such as Pro Tools, Nuendo, Cubase, Logic Pro, Reaper, Audition, Audacity, iZotope RX, or similar.
- Ability to deliver clean, polished audio within deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with feedback.
Good to Have
- Experience with dubbed content.
- Understanding of OTT/audio delivery standards.
- Experience with 5.1 mixing or stem-based delivery.
- Knowledge of Indian languages and regional content workflows.
- Familiarity with AI voice/dubbing workflows.
Ideally, We are looking for someone who is technically strong but also has a creative ear. The person should understand that dubbing is not just about making audio clean - it should feel natural, cinematic, and close to the original performance.
