Job Title: Auction Manager / State Head Vehicle Auctions


About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Auction Manager / State Head to lead and execute vehicle auctions, primarily focusing on bank-seized and repossessed assets across multiple segments including two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills, along with proven experience in managing both online and physical auctions. This role requires a proactive approach towards customer engagement, lead generation, and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the end-to-end auction process for used and repossessed vehicles.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and institutional clients to obtain auction listings.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to schedule and conduct auctions.
  • Develop and implement auction strategies to maximise sales and revenue.
  • Analyse market trends and pricing data to define effective auction strategies.
  • Conduct both physical and online auctions across assigned locations.
  • Ensure maximum buyer participation for both offline and online auctions.
  • Address buyer queries and concerns related to vehicle quality and auction transparency.
  • Train and supervise auction staff on processes, compliance and best practices.
  • Work closely with telecalling teams to connect with dealers and expand the buyer network.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed auction reports and MIS.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in handling bank-seized or repossessed vehicle auctions across:
  • Two-wheelers
  • Four-wheelers
  • Commercial vehicles
  • Prior experience with a vehicle auction company will be an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to prepare detailed auction and performance reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including payment follow-ups and customer coordination.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Language proficiency in English, Hindi and the local language is mandatory.
