About The Role
What if your deep knowledge of atmospheric science could directly shape how AI reasons about climate, weather systems, and the environment for researchers and policymakers worldwide We're looking for Atmospheric Science experts to develop and evaluate advanced problems that push AI models to think more rigorously about the science that governs our planet.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for postgraduate scientists who want to apply their expertise beyond the lab — contributing to cutting-edge AI development on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
- Design, solve, and review advanced atmospheric science problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in climate modeling, meteorology, ecology, or related disciplines to craft complex, meaningful problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, rigor, and depth
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model performance
- Ensure scientific clarity and methodological soundness across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a closely related field
- Experienced with Python or R for research, modeling, or data analysis
- Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, meteorology, ecology, or sustainability science
- Exceptional written communicator who can translate complex science into clear, structured problem sets
- Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold your work to the same standards as peer-reviewed research
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or curriculum development
- Familiarity with large-scale climate datasets or numerical modeling frameworks
- Experience bridging domain science and applied technology
