Job Description

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level Ataccama Platform Administrator with approximately 5 years of experience to govern and support our Ataccama ONE infrastructure. You will be responsible for server administration, platform health, user access control, and environment management. By keeping the MDM and DQ platform secure and performant, you will directly support the reliability of our critical clinical and compliance data products.

Key Responsibilities

 •  Administer the Ataccama ONE platform (including DQC components), managing server nodes, memory tuning, and overall system performance.

 •  Manage environment provisioning, user access controls, and SSO/LDAP integration to enforce enterprise security policies.

 •  Execute platform upgrades, apply security patches, and perform routine maintenance during planned outage windows.

 •  Monitor system logs, background jobs, and resource consumption, troubleshooting platform outages or performance degradation.

 •  Coordinate with release management teams to deploy DQ rules and MDM configurations across non-prod and production environments.

 •  Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management tickets via ServiceNow, ensuring all administrative actions meet GxP compliance and audit standards.

 

Core Technical Skills

 •  5+ years of system administration or platform support experience, with hands-on expertise managing the Ataccama platform (Ataccama ONE/DQC).

 •  Strong proficiency in server administration (Linux/Windows), memory management, and JVM tuning.

 •  Experience managing database connections, API integrations, and troubleshooting network latency issues.

 Methodology & Best Practices

 •  Proven experience with ITIL processes and utilizing ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for operational support.

 •  Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, backup/restore procedures, and enterprise compliance audits.

•  Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerized deployments.

•  Highly disciplined approach to platform stability and configuration management.

Soft Skills

 •  Highly disciplined approach to platform stability and configuration management.

 •  Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, calmly resolving critical platform incidents during on-call escalations.

 •  Communicate technical impacts clearly, ensuring alignment between IT operations and business data stewards.
