Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Astronomy Educator, based in Dwarka. The Astronomy Educator will be responsible for conducting engaging astronomy workshops, leading stargazing sessions, and developing lesson plans for educational programs. The role also involves working with school groups, engaging visitors of all ages, and delivering interactive learning experiences about space and astronomy. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure programs are educational, enjoyable, and aligned with Astroport Global's mission.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lesson Planning and creating educational content
- Skills in Education and Teaching, with a focus on astronomy or science-related topics
- Strong Communication abilities for presenting to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Training and leading interactive sessions
- Passion for astronomy and science education
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, outdoor setting
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Astronomy, Science, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in tourism, workshops, or experiential learning programs is a plus
