Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Astronomy Educator based in Dwarka. The Astronomy Educator will be responsible for planning and delivering astronomy-focused lessons, conducting engaging stargazing sessions, facilitating astronomy workshops, and simplifying complex astronomical concepts for learners of various age groups. The role also involves coordinating educational activities for schools, families, or corporate groups, ensuring a balance of learning and fun. Collaboration with other team members to create immersive and impactful experiences is a vital part of this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching that ensure well-structured and engaging educational sessions
  • Experience in Education and Training, with the ability to create and deliver impactful learning content
  • Excellent Communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences with clarity and enthusiasm
  • Passion for astronomy and hands-on experience with stargazing and telescopic observations
  • Proven ability to engage with groups of varying ages and backgrounds
  • A degree in Astronomy, Education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in science communication or fields related to astronomy education is a plus
