Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Asterisk servers
- Manage SIP servers and ensure reliable SIP communication
- Create and maintain Asterisk dial plans
- Integrate Asterisk with PSTN and configure PSTN cards
- Develop call-handling applications using AGI, FastAGI, and EAGI
- Configure and manage IVR, queues, voicemail, and conference calls
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot ChanSIP and PJSIP
- Work with databases (MySQL / MSSQL) and write basic SQL queries
- Create automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl
- Set up and manage Hosted VoIP / PBX solutions
- Support and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Work on multi-server Asterisk setups for scalability and redundancy
- Manage Linux servers and LAMP stack environments
- Participate in R&D for new VoIP and Asterisk technologies
- Knowledge of OpenSIPS / Kamailio (SBC) is an added advantage
