Role Description The Asst. Production Manager for the cosmetic industry will oversee daily production activities at the Noida facility in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, monitoring batch processes, and ensuring that products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves supervising production staff, optimizing use of machinery and materials, and supporting scale-up of new formulations from R&D to commercial manufacturing. The Asst. Production Manager will track production metrics, maintain documentation, and work closely with quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance teams to achieve timely and efficient output. This position also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in process efficiency, waste reduction, and workplace safety.
Qualifications
  • Strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of cosmetic manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with process control, equipment handling, and shop-floor supervision in cosmetics, FMCG, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices, GMP standards, hygiene protocols, and regulatory compliance for personal care products.
  • Ability to collaborate with R&D and technical teams to support new product trials, scale-up activities, and process optimization.
  • Competence in data tracking, production reporting, and use of basic MS Office or ERP tools for documentation and analysis.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to train and guide production staff effectively.
  • Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Cosmetic Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a supervisor or assistant manager in cosmetic or personal care manufacturing is highly beneficial.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
