Role Description The Asst Manager Poultry Feed Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region. This position is responsible for driving sales of poultry feed products, managing existing customer accounts, and developing new business opportunities with farms, dealers, and distributors. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing sales visits, providing technical product information, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and ensuring timely order execution and collections. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams for demand forecasting, pricing, and promotional activities, as well as preparing regular sales reports and performance updates. The Asst Manager Poultry Feed Sales is expected to build long-term relationships, support customers with product usage guidance, and contribute to achieving regional sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of poultry sector, including Poultry and Livestock management, to effectively understand customer needs and product applications.
- Background in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, or related fields, with familiarity with commercial Farms and feed utilization practices.
- Proven experience in field sales or business development in agri-inputs, feed, or related industries.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly, negotiate with customers, and maintain professional relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Comfort with on-site work, frequent travel within the region, and working independently to meet sales targets.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools; local language skills
