JOB Description: Assistant Manager – PLC Programming, SCADA & Electrical Projects

SCADA development , MIS Reporting & Electrical Projects

·      Design, develop, and maintain SCADA dashboards for real-time plant monitoring.

·      Create customized operator, supervisor, and management dashboards displaying key production and maintenance KPIs.

·      Develop graphical process visualization screens, alarm management systems, and historical trend analysis.

·      Configure data logging and historian systems for process and maintenance data collection.

·      Integrate PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and utility systems into centralized monitoring platforms.

·      Develop energy monitoring dashboards for power, compressed air, water, fuel, and utility consumption.

·      Implement Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

MIS & Reporting Systems

·      Develop automated MIS reports from PLC and SCADA databases.

·      Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

·      Develop maintenance dashboards covering:

o  Equipment Availability

o  OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

o  MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)

o  MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)

o  Breakdown Analysis

o  Preventive Maintenance Compliance

·      Create management reports for production efficiency, downtime analysis, energy consumption, and maintenance performance.

·      Integrate SCADA data with ERP, Excel, SQL databases, or reporting platforms where required.

·      Automate report generation and distribution to management teams.

Electrical Projects & Plant Improvements

·      Lead electrical and automation projects from concept to commissioning.

·      Prepare project specifications, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical evaluations.

·      Design and review electrical control panels, MCCs, PCCs, and automation architectures.

·      Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.

·      Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors during project execution.

·      Ensure projects are completed within approved budget, timeline, and quality requirements.

·      Drive plant modernization and Industry 4.0 initiatives through automation and digitalization.

Data Management & Industry 4.0

·      Develop plant-wide digital monitoring systems.

·      Implement centralized monitoring of production, utilities, and maintenance parameters.

·      Support predictive maintenance initiatives using SCADA and machine performance data.

·      Develop dashboards and reports .

Preferred Software & Technical Skills

·      SCADA: Ignition, FactoryTalk, iFIX.

·      PLC: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta.

·      Database Management: SQL Server, MySQL

·      Reporting Tools: Power BI, Excel Advanced Reporting, SSRS.

·      Industrial Communication: Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.

·      Electrical Design: AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN.

·      Industrial Networking and IIoT Applications.
