Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical designs for 33kV transmission lines, including route selection, line configuration, and material specification.

Conduct load flow and short circuit analysis to ensure the design meets operational and safety standards.
Collaborate with civil engineers to integrate electrical design with site civil works and structures.

Supervise the installation of 33kV power lines, substations, and related electrical equipment.

Coordinate with contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines.
Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and compliance with design specifications.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the 33kV power lines and associated infrastructure.

Perform regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve any electrical faults or outages.

Work closely with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE) is preferred.
Minimum of [7-10] years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with 33kV transmission lines or similar high-voltage systems.
Experience with wind power projects and knowledge of wind farm electrical systems is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of electrical design software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
