Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

Location: Kalady, Ernakulam

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports to: General Manager

Salary packages: 40000-50000 CTC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our FMCG business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, banking regulations, statutory compliance & costing specific to a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate reporting and leading the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounting, banking & costing.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Oversee product costing, pricing analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and tax requirements including GST & TDS.

Liaise with auditors, banks, company secretary and regulatory bodies as required.

Monitor inventory valuation, working capital management, and credit control.

Lead a team of finance professionals and foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

Education:MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 35 years of relevant experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of regulations like GST, TDS Income Tax, Companies Act, Indian GAAP.

Strong leadership skills & communication skills. Good language proficiency.

Non-Negotiable:

Understanding about Banking mainly Cash Credit/Overdraft Facility. Liaoning for enhancement of working capital limits, renewal of limits and ensuring compliance.

Detailed understanding about GST rules, return filings, audit matters & handling notices from GST department. Same level of knowledge about TDS & Income Tax rules.

The candidate must have through experience in FMCG food industry. A minimum of 3 years in similar organisation, handling a similar role. The overall experience should be no less than 3-5years in finance and accounting roles.
