The Asst. Manager, F&A at IDC Bangalore is responsible to lead overall controllership operations and compliance for the R&D and Global capability centres.

This position is reports to Finance Director - IDC and is responsible for managing OPEX, supporting the R&D organization with forecasting and budgeting, drive financial month end responsibilities, spend prioritization, and leading process improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive FP&A for R&D businesses of multiple Opco's including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and business partnership. Drive standardization and process improvements in forecasting and reporting, including best practice sharing. Identify and resolve gaps in reporting which will value-add to the business.
  • Ensure timely & accurate monthly, quarterly and year end closing & reporting according to Group policies. Implement and manage Business Intelligence Tools and Power BI Dashboards
  • Support statutory audits and regulatory filings/ statutory filings and liaise with group Internal auditors. Monitor and enforce internal controls across the organization aligned to Danaher policies.
  • Assess, and manage risks for vendor commercial activities and strategic projects, including commercial rates comparisons and reviews, capital expenditure monitoring etc.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in F&A profile
  • Strong Accounting and Taxation knowledge
  • High business acumen, financial numeracy, and analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in MS office and global ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, etc.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Power BI, Tableau or other Business intelligence tool
