Qualification BE in Mechanical/Automobile engineering

Experience 3 - 8 years in Automobile OEMs

Job Purpose & Role

Mechanical designer will be responsible for complete Engine mounting in vehicle

environment, Auxiliary system integration activities and to oversee the integration

of various systems into the vehicles. As a designer, you will be responsible for 3D

modeling, 2D drawings creation, collaborating with internal and external

stakeholders, and ensuring the generation of mechanical concepts for a mounting

structure, Data management in the system, Data release in the system.

Key Activities &

Expectations

Strong experience of 3 to 5 years in Unigraphics NX software

Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in 2D drawing and 3D Modelling

Creates 3D models, large assembly and detailing including drawing

conversions

Good understanding of GD&T and able to apply in drawings

Requires knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication and welding process

Knowledge of data management software Windchill & PDM

Familiar with part release process

Experience in BOM update & BOM releases

Experience of releasing supplier drawings

Good communication skill and able to communicate changes with shop floor

technician

Experience of working on proto parts and dealing with proto suppliers

Experience in defense industry will be added advantage
