Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential and C&I solar segments
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, networking, and digital outreach.
- Conduct site assessments, load analysis, and feasibility studies in coordination with technical teams.
- Present proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, channel partners, and vendors.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including documentation for subsidies and net metering as applicable.
- Stay updated with MNRE policies, DISCOM regulations, subsidy schemes, and market trends.
- Maintain sales pipeline and provide regular reports.
Preferred candidate profile
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (Science/ Commerce). MBA preferred.
- 3 5 years of proven sales experience in rooftop or distributed solar projects.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, components, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal preparation.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Preferred Qualities:
- Self-driven and target-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
- Understanding of C&I customer financials and solar ROI models.
- Exposure to subsidy processes under schemes like PM Surya Ghar or State Nodal Agencies
