Asst. Engineer - Assembly CQP

Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Assistant/Deputy Engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical to join our lithium-ion battery manufacturing team in DIVITIPALLI. The ideal candidate should have 1-4 years of experience in a production or engineering environment, preferably in battery manufacturing or related industries. He will assist in production line operations, equipment maintenance, process optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient and high-quality battery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support:

1. Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of lithium-ion battery manufacturing equipment.
2. Ensure smooth production flow by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or chemical process issues.
3. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electrode coating, cell assembly, electrolyte filling, formation, and testing.

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or automation-related failures.
3. Work with senior engineers to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Process Optimization & Quality Control:

1. Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) to ensure product consistency.
2. Assist in root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
3. Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to enhance yield and reduce waste.

Safety & Compliance:

1. Adhere to safety protocols for handling chemicals, high-voltage systems, and automated machinery.
2. Maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO, IATF, OSHA).
3. Report any safety hazards or deviations from standard procedures.

Documentation & Reporting:

1. Maintain logs for equipment performance, maintenance activities, and production data.
2. Assist in preparing reports on production metrics, downtime, and quality issues.

Work Environment:

1. Shift-based role(may include night shifts if required).
2. Exposure to cleanroom environments, chemicals, and high-voltage systems.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) compliance mandatory.
