Job Description

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer who can manage day-to-day portal support and maintenance while also contributing to development projects across multiple engagements. This role requires strong technical expertise in WordPress and the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Desired Skills And Experience

Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field

Strong experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, custom coding).

Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Knowledge of WordPress security best practices and performance optimization.

Familiarity with REST APIs, WooCommerce, and Gutenberg editor.

Experience with version control (Git) and deployment workflows.

Understanding of SEO principles and accessibility standards.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Experience in enterprise-level WordPress environments.

Exposure to cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for WordPress deployments.

Timely resolution of incidents within SLA.

Successful delivery of development tasks and enhancements.

Regular completion of maintenance and security updates.

Experience with financial datasets and understanding Private equity metrics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support for internal portal administrators.

Handle incident triage, resolution, and escalation for functionality and access issues.

Perform routine updates for plugins, themes, and security patches.

Monitor uptime and performance metrics.

Assist with content publishing, formatting, and user role configuration.

Design and implement new features, custom themes, and plugins.

Optimize site performance and security.

Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

Prepare monthly service summaries and participate in quarterly review meetings.
