Job Title: Software Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with strong Java knowledge to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java programming language.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficient in writing and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
