We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Associate Video Editor (Short-Form) who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-performing content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, storytelling, and audience engagement, and is passionate about creating content that captures attention within the first few seconds.

You will work closely with creative strategists, content creators, and marketing teams to produce compelling short-form videos that drive engagement, brand awareness, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Transform raw footage into compelling content using creative cuts, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Collaborate with creative strategists, content creators, and marketing teams to bring campaign ideas to life.
• Optimize content for audience retention, engagement, and platform-specific best practices.
• Add subtitles, basic animations, visual effects, and audio enhancements to improve content quality.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ensure consistency in branding, visual style, and overall content quality.
• Stay updated with social media trends, editing techniques, and emerging content formats.
• Organize and maintain project files, assets, and editing workflows efficiently.

Requirements

• 6 Months – 2 Years of video editing experience, preferably in digital media, content production, agencies, or creator-led environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement principles.
• Experience editing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, subtitles, color correction, and audio editing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality content.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant short-form editing work is highly preferred.
