At boAt, we create bold, fast, and unmissable films, campaigns, and social content that drive culture. We are seeking a Video Creative Director who stands at the intersection of modern filmmaking and the next wave of AI-powered content creation.
This role requires a creative leader who is equally adept at directing talent on set, shaping compelling stories, and building immersive visual worlds using cutting-edge AI tools. You must be comfortable designing film treatments, writing powerful AI prompts, and championing high-speed content production by combining traditional and AI workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
Visual Storytelling & Execution
- Lead Creative Direction: Drive high-impact visual narratives across social content, product launches, and brand campaigns, translating strategy into effective multi-platform films.
- Direct & Produce: Direct brand ambassadors and talent, and guide collaborations with creators and influencers for hero films and supporting content.
- Planning & Blueprinting: Develop detailed creative treatments, Pre-Production Meeting (PPM) decks, and comprehensive execution blueprints.
- On-Set Creative Decision Making: Make smart, real-time decisions regarding coverage, blocking, and edit strategies to maximize production output.
- Experimentation: Continuously test new AI tools, production techniques, and evolving visual formats.
- Creative System Ownership: Own and evolve in-house production systems and AI-assisted content pipelines.
AI-First Content Creation
- Accelerate Production: Use AI video generation tools to rapidly prototype ideas, generate initial shots, and accelerate the overall creative timeline.
- Prompt Engineering: Write high-quality prompts for video, visual, and audio generation using platforms like Higgsfield, Weavy, Runway, Pika, and various AI audio/voice generators.
- Workflow Integration: Seamlessly blend AI-generated visuals and audio with traditional filmmaking and post-production workflows.
- Creative Asset Development: Build and scale a global content asset bank utilizing both live-action footage and AI-generated content.
Creative & Production Leadership
- Act as the Creative Core: Serve as the core creative link between brand teams, external creators, production partners, and the post-production team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Editors, Motion Designers, AI Video Artists, Colorists, Sound Designers, and Music Producers.
- Accelerated Creative Delivery: Guide multiple parallel pipelinesshoot, edit, grade, and AI generationto ensure fast, decisive, and clean feedback loops and accelerate final delivery.
- Creative Workflow Improvement: Continuously refine production processes using AI-assisted tools.
