Your area of work:

For our new office in Hyderabad, we are looking for a senior Software Engineer supporting the further development of our leading-edge Trading System T7 offering order and quote management, and on- and off-book trading services in simple and complex instruments.

You will shape a motivated team, working in an international environment, driven to keep up the highest levels of service quality while constantly allowing for integration of functional and technical improvements in a fast-changing domain. Your effective collaboration with the business, operations, specification, build and system test teams working in our distributed environment is crucial and relies on clear communication, trust, and usage of digital tools.

T7 RDS (Reference Data System) is a central, mission critical service of the T7 trading platform that models, validates, loads and distributes high quality reference data (e.g. instruments, calendars, participants, entitlements) in a consistent and auditable way to all T7 markets and applications. We are a Linux development house with access to both on-prem and cloud development resources. Development stack consists of Java EE, Python, MySQL, Linux, GCP, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira.

Your responsibilities:

• Our customers are diverse mix of other functional analysts, developers, technical staff, exchange system operators, and others with whom you will be in close contact when tailoring solutions.
• Support ad hoc inquiries from Simulation and Production
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and continuously enhance the T7 RDS software across its full lifecycle
• Collaborate proactively with team members, business analysts, and other technical and business stakeholders
• Take ownership of assigned topics by managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables independently.

Your profile:

• University degree in business studies or in engineering or comparable qualification
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as developer, thereof at least 5 years with Java application development
• Proficiency in application servers, JPA, SQL and XML technologies
• Comfortable with Linux, GitHub, Jenkins and Eclipse
• Positive attitude towards learning new technologies and high self-motivation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team oriented mindset with ability to collaborate effectively across locations
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Basic knowledge of exchange services and trading are beneficial.
