Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as an Associate Vice President of Flight Operations based in Gurugram. The AVP will oversee operational planning and execution for Skye Air's drone delivery services. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end flight operations, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, leading cross-functional initiatives, optimizing processes for operational efficiency, and driving strategic projects. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities to guarantee service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Also manage the entire leg of logistics including Last mile.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Operations Management and P&L Management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and managing budgets effectively.
• Proficiency in Strategic Planning and Project Management to drive complex initiatives and align business goals with operational execution.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• In-depth understanding of aviation regulations, compliance, and safety practices, especially in the UAV/drones industry, is highly desirable.
• Effective leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
