Essential capabilities
- 10+ years experience as an operational practitioner in lending operations
- 5+ Years experience in Corporate/Institutional loan market (or similar) experience
- Strong customer service work ethic; high attention to detail
- Strong time management and prioritization; ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of risk and controls; ability to clearly articulate operational risk.
Key Accountabilities
- Complex case handling & technical escalation support; reduce repeat defects and rework
- Process hygiene support: reinforce controls adherence, BAU governance routines and work instruction quality
- Risk & controls: identify gaps, implement mitigations, support incident closure and prevention actions
- Capability uplift: coach colleagues through knowledge sharing, floor support and structured guidance
- Operational excellence: contribute to improvements that enhance service and/or reduce cost
Qualification Requirements
- A graduate in commerce, business or finance
- Certification in wholesale/commercial lending will be an added advantage
