About The Role & Team
As an Associate UX Designer at SITA, you will be responsible for conceiving, designing, and leading user research initiatives, translating insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces. You will shape the overall functionality and experience of large-scale enterprise applications, ensuring seamless usability and innovative solutions. Your role will also focus on knowledge of vibe coding platforms, UX research, and designing for complex, multi-user platforms.
What You'll Do
- Conduct and manage UX research, usability studies, and vibe coding sessions to understand user needs and behaviours.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver detailed product specifications, assets, and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity interfaces for large applications.
- Champion best practices for large enterprise product design, data visualisation, Dark mode and cross-platform user experiences (desktop, web, mobile).
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define goals, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Establish design consistency across portfolios by working with Portfolio UX Design Leads.
- Advocate for the design team, encouraging effective collaboration and implementation of innovative solutions.
- Utilise data-driven methods and experimentation to validate designs and optimise user experience.
- Conduct user testing and build detailed personas to inform design decisions and ensure solutions are tailored to real user needs.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Minimum 3 years experience in a technology-driven organisation, ideally within the aviation or enterprise software sector, delivering large-scale applications.
- Bachelor's degree in human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- UX certification from recognised organisations (e.g., Human Factors International, Nielsen Norman Group, Interaction Design Foundation).
- Qualifications or certifications in Visual Design or advanced UX methodologies.
- Good understanding of human cognitive behaviour and HCI elements in design.
- Proven track record as a UX designer in software/product development, with expertise in enterprise environments and high-volume, multi-user platforms.
- Conduct and manage UX research, usability studies, and user testing to deeply understand user needs and behaviours, building detailed personas to inform design decisions.
- Produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces, using modern design tools (including Figma and Miro, with AI features) for rapid prototyping, content generation, and real-time collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean UX, agile methodologies, and advanced UX deliverables such as journey maps, site maps, style guides, and usability reports.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, product owners, stakeholders, and Portfolio UX Design Leads to define goals, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives and design consistency across portfolios.
- Champion best practices for enterprise product design, including data visualisation, Dark mode, and cross-platform user experiences (desktop, web, mobile).
- Utilise data-driven methods and experimentation to validate designs and optimise user experience, including vibe coding techniques and user research.
- Advocate for the design team, fostering a collaborative culture and the implementation of innovative, user-focused solutions.
