Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our Investment Platform & Client Strategy team as an Analyst / Associate – Financial Product & Data Integrity / Governance. This role sits at the core of ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of financial data on a leading investment management platform.

The candidate will work across a wide range of asset classes and financial products, performing in-depth validation, conducting forensic investigations into data issues, and contributing to the continuous evolution of our control and governance frameworks. This role requires strong logical reasoning, a solid understanding of financial markets, and the ability to take ownership of complex investigations while collaborating closely with internal teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integrity & Product Validation

  • Perform and oversee daily and weekly financial product validation routines across multiple asset classes.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency on the core investment platform.
  • Investigate complex data discrepancies and system breaks, identifying root causes using a structured, logical, and analytical approach.

Issue Resolution & Governance

  • Act as a key execution and escalation point for non-routine or complex data integrity exceptions.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of financial instruments and investment data to diagnose and resolve intricate issues.
  • Identify thematic trends and recurring issues, contributing to the design and implementation of long-term, scalable solutions.
  • Support the enhancement and evolution of data validation methodologies, controls, and governance frameworks.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with internal technology, operations, and platform teams to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.
  • Assist in preparing data quality insights, metrics, and root-cause analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to client discussions and reviews, articulating findings clearly and credibly.

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement

  • Guide and support junior analysts where applicable, reviewing work output and fostering a culture of analytical rigor and

curiosity.

  • Stay informed on developments in financial markets, particularly across derivatives, fixed income, and structured products.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge assets, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; MBA or CA preferred but not mandatory for the right

experience profile.

  • Strong foundational understanding of financial products and treasury markets(Derivatives, Structured Products and Fixed

Income products), with the ability to explain how products function.

  • Excellent analytical and logical reasoning abilities, with demonstrated success in solving complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage confidently with

stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and problem-solving orientation.

Value-Add Qualifications

  • CFA (completed or in progress) is a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience in treasury, financial services, asset management, or investment operations.
  • Hands-on exposure to Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Structured Products.
  • Experience working with investment platforms, market data, or reference data governance is a plus.
