Associate Technical Professional - Structural

The Associate Technical Professional Structural supports structural engineering activities within KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions. The role focuses on applying standard engineering principles and techniques to support the design and execution of structural components across projects, while gaining experience on increasingly complex assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply standard structural engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria under direct supervision
• Perform structural analysis and design tasks with minor adaptations as required
• Support the design of structural components for industrial and infrastructure projects
• Assist senior engineers on larger and more complex structural assignments
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation in line with project requirements
• Participate in investigations, surveys, and data collection activities
• Ensure designs align with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
• Support cost-effective and efficient engineering solutions through accurate design execution
• Coordinate with internal disciplines to support integrated project delivery
• Follow organizational quality, safety, and engineering best practices

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 0 to 6 years of experience in structural engineering or related fields
• Basic knowledge of structural design principles and engineering standards
• Ability to apply engineering judgment within established guidelines
