Job Title: Associate Technical Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Support validation and processing of encounter data (837P/837I)
- Perform data quality checks and resolve submission errors
- Assist with system configuration, data mapping, and integrations
- Support testing and ensure HIPAA/X12 compliance
- Act as a point of contact for clients on data issues and requirements
- Monitor submission status, error trends, and data quality metrics
- Maintain documentation and support audit readiness
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in healthcare IT, payer systems, or data management
- Basic understanding of healthcare data standards (HIPAA 5010, X12, 837 transactions)
- Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare Advantage or CMS processes (a plus)

- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
