ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Associate – Tax and Assurance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ernakulam. The associate will primarily support Tax Litigation and Advisory service, alongside tax compliance and tax computations/ planning, supervision of tax filings. Daily responsibilities include analyzing tax laws and regulations, review and supervision of assurance engagements, MCA and other statutory compliances. The role involves close collaboration with the partners and clients in timely deliveries, planning, client, and team supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 1 year of post qualification experience - THIS IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
• Experience in audit & assurance services and other statutory compliances
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation.
• Understanding of Tax Law and regulatory frameworks relevant to corporate and individual taxation.
• Ability to interpret regulations, analyze data, and prepare clear documentation and reports.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic familiarity with accounting or tax software; willingness to learn new tools and systems.
