Job Description

Job Title: Associate (Launch engineer)

Location: JAMSHEDPUR

Experience: 1-3 years

This role supports vehicle electrical integration, software flashing, diagnostics, and New Product Introduction activities during prototype development and production. The Associate will work closely with various teams to ensure timely resolution of electrical issues and smooth vehicle launches.

Job Description: 1. Support vehicle electrical integration activities throughout the product lifecycle. 2. Perform vehicle software flashing, ECU programming, and electrical diagnostics for prototype builds, production, and field service. 3. Assist in prototype vehicle builds, validation, and production trials to ensure electrical system functionality. 4. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on the assembly line and at customer locations using standard diagnostic procedures and tools. 5. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from prototype development through production launch. 6. Ensure electrical systems meet required standards for production readiness during NPI phases. 7. Coordinate closely with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams for effective issue resolution. 8. Review electrical schematics and wiring harnesses for accuracy and functionality. 9. Contribute to the timely resolution of electrical issues and support smooth vehicle launches.

Skills and Qualifications: 1. 1-3 years of experience in vehicle electrical systems, integration, or New Product Introduction. 2. Proficiency in vehicle software flashing, ECU programming, and diagnostic tools. 3. Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring harnesses. 4. Experience with prototype builds, validation processes, and production trials. 5. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 7. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. 8. Knowledge of NPI processes within the automotive industry. 9. A relevant engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering is preferred.
