Associate - Supply Planning - PLPM - Global Planning Hub

This role includes managing efficient information flow and Supply Chain execution that supports product lifecycle process. This role requires an individual to set up the raw materials, finished goods and the Bill of Materials in SAP ERP which will provide visibility to Supply and Demand. An Individual should be effective in communication to connect different stakeholders along with several business teams/ groups in the US.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Excellence (90% of Time)

• Work on single/ multi-layer BOM creation and maintenance for assigned manufacturing platforms/ business operating units.
• Update product characteristics/ attributes in SAP for raw materials.
• Execute Material set up process at required plant locations.
• Conceptual understanding of product lifecycle process and proficiency in product specifications and formula to create Bills of Materials.
• Manage exceptions to the standard process.
• Learn and execute knowledge on General Mills planning systems and internal process tools [SAP ERP, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), GTM (Go to Market) tools and SharePoint workflows etc.].
• Ensure completion of execution of daily/weekly/monthly activities for Raw and Finished materials and BOM setup.
• Adhere to the SOP and processes set while doing the master data setup related to material and BOM setup activities.
• Provide regular communication updates on key performance metrics to the business stakeholders.
• Active participation in Brand execution meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Learn and execute assigned activities/ desk work as per business requirement.
• Work on Spec to BOM reconciliations.
• Work collaboratively with US supply chain partners to gather the needed information to support the governance of planning processes.
• Ability to collect and analyze data for reporting purposes.

• Support any team initiatives and process improvements.
• Participate in Knowledge Sharing sessions.
• Participate in organizational site and function level events along with corporate social responsibility activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education - Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
• Minimum Degree Requirements - Bachelors
• Minimum years of related experience required - 1-2 years
