Our teams operate from multiple global delivery centers, supporting Zurich's business units worldwide.
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Automation Tester to join Zurich's Asia Pacific team.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing the test automation framework, designing and developing automated test scripts, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust test automation practices.
You will be part of the Zurich Edge Platform initiative, building a next-generation end-to-end digital insurance platform that enables innovative distribution models. The platform is designed for high levels of automation and straight-through processing across the entire insurance value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the test automation framework.
- Create automated test scripts using test data management, reusable automation principles, and Agentic AI.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and define test scenarios.
- Execute automated test suites and generate test execution reports and dashboards.
- Analyze test defects and collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Validate application functionality through UI and API automation testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality assurance activities.
- Support international teams and travel when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Automation Tester.
- Experience working in the Insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience with:
- UI Automation Testing
- API Automation Testing
Strong experience with:
- Selenium
- Rest Assured
- Playwright
Experience using:
- Browsers tack (Preferred)
- Postman (Preferred)
- JMeter (Preferred)
- Experience with database querying (Preferred).
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
- Experience using Agentic AI for:
- Test Design
- Test Automation Script Generation
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD testing practices.

- Experience with API testing tools and performance testing.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.
