Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective operational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks across the organization
- Conduct risk assessments, analyze data, and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including regulatory reporting, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any identified gaps or issues
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business units on operational risk management best practices
- Participate in the development and implementation of key risk indicators and risk appetite frameworks
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operational risk management program by identifying and implementing process enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting standards related to operational risk management
- Proficient in data analysis, risk assessment, and risk mitigation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with financial industry best practices and emerging trends in operational risk management
