Associate Solution Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for requirements clarification and solution design of reusable OSS solutions aligned with target IT architecture.
• Lead cross-functional virtual teams including network designers, component designers and process designers to deliver E2E OSS solution designs.
• Define OSS solutions across Infrastructure Plan & Build, Inventory, Workflow Automation, Activation, Orchestration, and Fulfilment.
• Architect solutions for IP/MPLS, Access, Transmission, SDN/NFV-based converged networks.
• Drive E2E solution design for strategic programs such as GWAN, HE, WMC, MEAS, Dynamic Infrastructure Automation, and other BT-critical initiatives.
• Ensure all solution patterns align with global architectural principles, TM Forum Open API frameworks, and designated guardrails.
• Create reusable design patterns and baseline them in central repositories for long-term use.
• Collaborate with delivery managers, system designers, developers, and testers to ensure successful solution implementation across waterfall and agile models.
• Liaise with network designers, business stakeholders, and program managers to ensure business needs are met through assured design.
• Work closely with engineering teams across the organization to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Define how OSS and BSS interoperate end-to-end to support digital transformation and enhanced customer experience.
• Apply telecom technologies and standards such as BPMN, CI/CD, NetDevOps for digital OSS transformation.
• Produce functional specifications, interface specifications, HLDs, and detailed design documents for OSS systems.
• Define solutions for network technologies and devices from Nokia, Cisco, Ciena, Huawei, Adva etc.
• Develop design artifacts using YANG and TOSCA templates (Design-as-Code).
