Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Solution Architect – Retail Integrations to support the Lead Solution Architect and work alongside Technical Analysts in designing and delivering retail technology solutions across POS, ERP, digital commerce, omnichannel, and integration platforms.
The role combines hands-on technical analysis with developing solution architecture responsibilities. You will translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, process flows, interface designs, integration specifications, and practical solution proposals.
This is an opportunity for a technical professional with 5–8 years of experience to gradually take ownership of smaller solution designs and integration workstreams while developing broader solution architecture capabilities.

Your tasks
- Analyzing retail processes and integrations covering sales, returns, pricing, promotions, inventory, master data, orders, and fulfilment
- Translating business requirements into process flows, functional specifications, interface mappings, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios
- Documenting system interactions, integration requirements, data dependencies, business rules, and cross-system impacts
- Creating and maintaining context diagrams, data-flow views, interface documentation, and solution overviews
- Collaborating with architects and engineers on APIs, event flows, message queues, batch interfaces, and integration patterns
- Reviewing and validating JSON/XML payloads, data transformations, interface mappings, API specifications, and business rules
- Identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and failure scenarios and escalating them to the relevant architect or delivery team
- Planning and supporting functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing with internal teams and vendors
- Supporting implementation, production readiness, releases, store rollouts, and root-cause analysis for cross-system issues
- Maintaining requirements, architecture artefacts, interface specifications, test evidence, technical decisions, and support documentation
- Contributing to reusable templates, integration standards, and architecture principles
- Taking ownership of smaller solution designs and integration workstreams under the guidance of the Lead Solution Architect
- 5–8 years of experience in Technical Analysis, Business Analysis, Retail Technology, Software Integration, Solution Design, or related areas
- Good knowledge of core retail processes, including sales, returns, pricing, promotions, inventory, orders, and master data
- Practical experience with APIs, integrations, middleware, messaging, event-driven flows, or cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of process flows, system interactions, data mappings, JSON/XML payloads, and API documentation
- Experience with functional specifications, requirements, test cases, defect documentation, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of integration patterns, data dependencies, cross-system impacts, and interface design
- Ability to identify technical gaps, dependencies, risks, and failure scenarios across integrated systems
- Ability to work independently on defined technical tasks while seeking architectural guidance for complex decisions
- Fluent English - minimum B2 level
- Exposure to POS, ERP, digital commerce, payment, inventory, or omnichannel solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP Integration Suite/CPI or comparable integration platforms
- Familiarity with Google Cloud, Apigee, iPaaS, Pub/Sub, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting retail rollouts, system upgrades, integration testing, or transformation initiatives
- Working knowledge of Postman, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Exposure to cloud-based integration architectures and event-driven solutions
- Interest in developing solution architecture and technical leadership capabilities
