Summary:
You will join the Platform Connect team as an Associate Software Engineer, focusing on building the foundational platform for seamless integration across products, services, and external systems. Your contributions will be vital in developing scalable, reliable, and extensible backend services and APIs, crucial for feature entitlements, usage metering, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend services that power Platform Connect capabilities, including entitlements, usage tracking, and integrations
• Develop scalable and secure APIs for internal and external consumers
• Work on service-to-service integrations across platform components, such as identity, billing, and metering systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end platform features
• Debug production issues and ensure high system reliability and performance
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices
• Contribute to observability improvements, including logging, monitoring, and tracing
• Learn and apply best practices in distributed systems and microservices

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of backend development experience, including internships or projects
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core computer science fundamentals
• Proficiency in one backend language, such as Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python, or Go
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of Git and basic development workflows

What You'll Work On:

• Platform APIs powering cross-product integrations
• Feature entitlement systems and access control layers
• Usage metering pipelines and tenant-level tracking
• Service integrations across identity, billing, and product systems
• Foundational platform services that enable scalable product growth
