Associate Software Engineer

About the Job
We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer with experience in Angular and modern web application development. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications while working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. This role requires strong technical foundations, problem-solving skills, and a passion for building high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications using Angular and related technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers to implement business requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications.
- Contribute to application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability initiatives.
- Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, estimation, and Agile development activities.
- Support CI/CD processes and quality engineering practices.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices.
Qualifications
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Angular
- TypeScript
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5
- CSS3
- SCSS
Additional requirements:
- Proficiency in source control management using Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Good understanding of component-based architecture and modern web development practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as:
- Karma/Jasmine
- Jest
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of software design principles, web application security, and performance optimization techniques.
