Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Associate Software Engineer at Mindlabs located in Hyderabad. As a Associate Software Engineer, your key responsibilites include,
- Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Node.js and React frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features and functionalities, ensuring seamless integrations.
- Create and manage databases using DynamoDb and Redis, optimizing data models for efficiency and performance.
- Deploy applications and services on AWS, monitoring and troubleshooting as needed.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues to maintain a reliable and secure system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing in new ideas and technologies to improve development processes.
- Investigate and debug production issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and system behavior to identify the root cause of issues affecting application performance or functionality.
- Implement and deploy immediate fixes or workarounds to mitigate critical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Skillset and Experience Requirements:
- Solid expertise in Data structures and Algorithms
- Solid expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in Node.JS and NoSQL databases
- Strong proficiency in React JS and/or React Native.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS (EC2, ECS, Cognio, SNS).
- Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and adapt/learn new technologies quickly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
