Your Role

We're looking for a Social Media Strategist who understands that social isn't just posting it's storytelling, positioning, performance, and growth. This role sits at the intersection of content, copy, and digital marketing.

You'll be responsible for shaping narratives, writing sharp copy, managing campaigns, and using data and AI tools to continuously improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives
  • Write compelling captions, copy, and hooks tailored to different platforms
  • Drive content calendars across formats (posts, threads, carousels, videos, etc.)
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly messaging
  • Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and positioning

Copywriting & Communication

  • Craft high-quality copy for social, digital campaigns, and marketing assets
  • Support messaging development for campaigns, launches, and initiatives
  • Optimize content for engagement, clarity, and conversion

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • Plan and manage paid marketing campaigns across platforms
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on data
  • Contribute to SEO and AEO-driven content strategies
  • Work on discoverability, visibility, and digital reach initiatives

AI & Tools

  • Leverage AI tools for content ideation, copy refinement, analysis, and optimization
  • Experiment with emerging tools to enhance efficiency and creativity
  • Use analytics platforms to derive actionable insights

Qualifications

  • 23 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing
  • Strong caption writing and copywriting skills
  • Proven ability to create engaging, platform-native content
  • Experience handling paid marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with SEO and AEO principles
  • Comfort working with analytics, insights, and performance metrics
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for marketing/content workflows

Bonus if you have

  • Experience working with global audiences or multi-country campaigns
  • Exposure to policy, technology, AI, or impact-driven sectors
  • Ability to translate long-form content into high-performing social assets
  • Experience collaborating with designers, video editors, and agencies
  • Understanding of social listening and reputation management
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Basic design sensibility (Canva / Figma / visual storytelling instincts)
  • Experience experimenting with emerging platforms and content formats
