Job Purpose
The Service Desk Resource will provide dedicated support to Corporate Finance operations by acting as a central coordination point for service requests, system access, and vendor onboarding activities. The role focuses on managing service desk tickets end-to-end, ensuring timely follow-up, and facilitating smooth communication between Corporate Finance users, IT teams, and external vendors to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and track Service Desk tickets from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to defined service levels.
- Raise and log service tickets on behalf of Corporate Finance users across relevant IT and support systems.
- Act as the primary coordination interface between Corporate Finance, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for vendors, consultants, and employees, including system access and tool enablement.
- Follow up on system access requests, approvals, and dependencies to ensure timely completion and closure.
- Maintain accurate records of requests, status updates, and resolutions to support audit and reporting requirements.
- Ensure all service desk activities comply with internal processes, controls, and security guidelines.
- Proactively identify delays or bottlenecks and escalate issues as required to ensure resolution timelines are met.
Key competencies
- Candidates should have a B.E./B. Tech/MCA/MBA in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Good understanding of Service Desk operations, ticketing systems, and access management processes.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Basic understanding of Corporate Finance processes and business systems is an added advantage.
