Key Responsibilities
- Legal Document Review: Analyze closing documents such as credit agreements, term sheets, note purchase agreements, and Investment Committee (IC) memos.
- Risk Modelling: Develop and update risk and borrowing base models across various transactions. Monitor key metrics to assess risk and triggers. Conduct stress‑case scenarios and analyze headroom across key metrics.
- Covenant Monitoring: Continuously monitor qualitative and quantitative covenants, triggers, events, and key performance indicators at the transaction level.
- Client Requests & Compliance: Ensure compliance with client requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) from an asset management perspective.
- Surveillance & Reporting: Review reports on proprietary platforms and ensure accuracy of logic, calculations, and values.
- Collaboration: Identify redundancies and streamline processes by collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive organization‑wide impact.
- Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior team members to support career development and provide regular performance feedback to both team members and line managers.
- Delegation & Workflow Management: Actively manage workflows and delegate tasks to ensure optimal capacity utilization, improve team performance, and meet business objectives.
Required Experience / Skill Set
- Broad understanding of the corporate credit landscape and core financial concepts
- Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict, aggressive deadlines
- Graduate degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance preferred
- Prior experience with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm is preferred
