Department Overview:
Nomura Risk Management division oversees risks associated with the firm's global business activities, inclusive of but not limited to market, credit, operational and liquidity risks, while enabling the firm to achieve long-term sustainable growth.
In close collaboration across business divisions, senior management and stakeholders, the division develops and sets risk management frameworks to identify, manage and mitigate the firm's risks, continually ensuring transparency and business activities are operating in line with risk appetite.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing Associate to join our Asia ex-Japan Risk HQ function. This role will be instrumental in CRO initiatives, Risk Regulatory liaison, department management in the region, with regular engagement across Risk Management functions and leadership, and various Business and Corporate departments.
This position offers wide exposure across Risk functions and senior management, and requires a highly adaptable Risk professional with comprehensive understanding of the CRO division, who is able to maintain discretion while managing multiple competing new and ongoing demands in a fast-moving environment.
