About the role
- Identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and techniques
- Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI s
- Knows and applies fundamental work theories/concepts/processes in own areas of work for self and team
- Responsible for quality checks on all processes related to deliveries from Hauliers and Suppliers to ensure they meet efficiency and timeliness standards as per Depot capacity plans.
- Mentor team members and foster continuous learning and development. Establish adherance and stay up to date with Business
- As an advocate for Primary distribution services, partnering with Suppliers, Hauliers, and Tesco Depots and other teams , promoting positive communication, creating effective relationships, and building trust.
- Parterning with Suppliers, Hauliers, Risk Assessors, Distribution Centres, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams to enhance service levels and ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Supporting Managers in expanding the Primary Distribution network while utilizing data analysis to identify trends, meet KPI targets, and drive improvements across all depots
- Identify process gaps and develop mitigation plans to address potential risks and improve overall effectiveness.
- Identify oppurtuntiies and work on projects to reduce operating cost in Distrbution Network and stay up to date with Business
- Assist the team in planning delivery schedule and slots for Priority supplier on seasonal promotions like Christmas and Easter event

- 2-3 Years of Planning role and supply chain experience
