Job Description

An Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) in bankingsupports senior relationship managers by assisting with client onboarding, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth client service. Key responsibilities include handling client queries, preparing documentation and credit proposals, and maintaining client records. ARMs also help identify new business opportunities, support sales initiatives, and ensure compliance with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Client support: Handle client inquiries, provide general banking services, and ensure seamless on-boarding processes.
  • Administrative tasks: Manage client documentation, maintain CRM records, and assist in preparing credit proposals and other reports.
  • Business development: Assist in identifying prospective customers, cross-selling opportunities, and achieving individual and branch sales goals.
  • Relationship management: Support senior relationship managers in building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships by becoming a trusted banking partner.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities are in line with the bank's guidelines, policies, and operational standards.
  • Market analysis: Help prepare market analyses and support sales initiatives.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree is typically required, often in a business, finance, or related field. An MBA is a plus for some roles.
  • Experience: This role require 3-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building client relationships and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze client needs, understand financial products, and solve problems is crucial.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with relevant software, particularly CRM systems, is necessary.
