What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION
In this position, you will :
Design, develop and execute Tests for V&V of embedded software products.
- Perform Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for nVent firmware and software products.
- Review requirements, create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases for embedded firmware features.
- Execute manual and automated test suites across functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing.
- Validate communication protocols such as REDFISH, Modbus, Ethernet, Email, Syslog, and other product-specific features.
- Perform Build Acceptance Testing (BAT), feature validation, and release readiness checks.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause verification, and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.
- Validate hardware-firmware interactions with sensors, peripherals, and system components.
- Use lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools during testing.
- Maintain test coverage metrics, update documentation, and support continuous test improvements.
- Work within Agile methodologies for sprints, planning, and backlog grooming.
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 02 years of experience in Firmware Testing / V&V / QA for embedded systems.
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques, and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Python, automation frameworks, or scripting.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
