Position Title: Associate QA Test Engineer

Experience: 1–4 Years

Location: Pune (Hybrid)

Technical Skills Required Mandatory:

Manual Testing:

· Understanding of QA methodologies and techniques – effectively using them in day to day activities

· Defect Management, defect prioritization

· Hands on experience of designing test cases, test Case Management

· Good knowledge of test management and defect management tools

· Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

· Test bed setup creation, involving server deployments AD/DNS, DHCP, LDAP Servers etc.

Domain:

· Solid understanding of either the OSI layers, Routing/Switching, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls OR VMware Workstation/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V etc

· Conceptual understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Ciphers and Digital certificates

Reporting and communication:

· Understanding the test metrices, prepare and share with team

· Ability to communicate effectively with team and management

Good to have:

· Domain/Technology:

· Prior experience of working with virtualization platforms e.g. Citrix, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Hyper-V

· Direct customer support exposure

· Involvement in releasing products/builds

· Product documentations

· Automation Testing

· Hands on experience in automation

· Hands on experience in framework designing and reporting

· Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or any other

Role and Responsibilities:

· Understanding requirements, preparing end to end test scenarios and writing test cases

· Executing test cases in efficient manner and self-managed

· Take ownership of product modules and ensure timely delivery

· Guide teams for understand requirements and provide pointers for designing boundary cases and efficient test model

· Understand customer requirements, coordinate with development team and get it implemented with general availability in mind

· Efficient reporting and communication skills

· Knowledge of Web Services testing

· Experience of client server model-based products and desktop clients

· Exposure to mobile applications testing

· Kubernetes and Container technologies
