Associate QA Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and prepare test requirements.
• Create and execute test cases covering functional and usability aspects.
• Analyze test results, including database impacts, errors, defects, and usability issues.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing status and observations to stakeholders.
• Participate in design and requirement reviews and provide input on potential product issues.
• Perform testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS, including device and browser compatibility testing.
• Perform web application and hardware testing as required.
• Participate in preparing test plans, test cases, test data, and defect reports.
• Execute Sanity, Functional, Usability, Integration, and Regression testing.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman/Swagger.
• Verify bug fixes and perform appropriate regression testing.
• Contribute to maintaining QA documentation and testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing and Java programming.

Requirements :

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and test design techniques.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, sanity, usability, and integration testing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing.
• Exposure to mobile application testing on Android and iOS.
• Good understanding of defect reporting and the bug life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Java and automation testing.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Good communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on product quality.
